Godwin’s Tavern
Godwin’s Tavern is a friendly and warm place. The place is often full; the Halfing tenant bakes succulent pies and serves the best ale in the country. A large fireplace warms the main room and an occasional troupe of local musicians animates the room.
But right now, the tavern is almost deserted while Godwin faces trouble with rat-men. The vermin have dug a tunnel that opens into the cellar. They come some nights to loot and ransack the premises. Though Godwin sealed the heavy iron door of the storage, the rat-men have already burrowed a second access. There remains only the bricks and some soil to break down. These foul creatures seem attracted to a greenish crystal glowing in the dark.
